Our Experience

For Patrice, real estate is practically a calling. Raised in Westboro Village, her father, whose profession was property development, made it a habit to take Patrice along, at an early age, to development sites, and instruct her on the investment value of buying and selling Ottawa real estate.

Her now 29 year real estate career, however, didn't start after university. Initially, Patrice taught Sociology. Teaching was followed by an 12 year career in government. Patrice was at the Constitutional table for the Federal Government, and then the Government of Saskatchewan, as senior advisor for 6 of those years. She was also Assistant Deputy Minister for the Province, and a leader in originating Saskatchewan’s 1.5 million acre Indian land claims policy, and negotiating settlement of the model claims.

Patrice was appointed to the Faculty of the Ontario Real Estate College in 2011, and has since received the College's highest award of excellence. She takes great pleasure in periodically instructing Ottawa real estate students who are in the advanced program leading to registration.

Patrice, through Coldwell Banker Canada, has been awarded either President's Elite or President's Circle status from 2000 to 2008*. For 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 Patrice is a recipient of the International President's Circle* award.

She is very proud to be a first recipient of the national award, granted in connection with International Women's Year.

Patrice is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program of the Niagara Institute, and past member of the Steering Committee of the United Way-Federal division.

Most recently, she has been received awards for Excellence in Education from both the Ottawa Real Estate Board and the Ontario Real Estate College.

Elmer is 4+ decades an Ottawa real estate Broker, and formerly from the Corporate sector. Born in Saskatchewan, he is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan. Like Patrice, Elmer is doing what he dearly loves to do, 24/7. Two and three generations of many Ottawa families call Elmer their broker, and "just the nicest guy". A remarkable problem-solver, Elmer sees solutions where others don't. And he is tireless in his search for results.

Elmer is lucky to have called Winnipeg, Saskatoon, and Montreal home at different times. Patrice similarly has lived in Toronto, Quebec City, Kingston, and Regina. Both have travelled extensively throughout eastern and western Canada.
